Submission Without Dominance?

Can there be submission without dominance? Please share your thoughts on this post by Knows What She Wants.

Knows What She Wants

Ever since I created this blog, I’ve been exploring other sexuality blogs here on WordPress, and loving how much I’ve learned about the current state of D/s and others’ ideas and terminology. It’s at the cross-section of linguistics, psychology, and sexuality, so how could I not love every minute of it?

The thing that’s been most interesting and most revolutionary to me in my reading is exploring the idea of “dominance.” I’ve realized that dominance as a concept is not actually that important to me when it’s able to be extracted from “submission.” What I mean is that what I really, truly like is submission, and I enjoy dominance primarily as a way to be on the other side of that. But in a world where I can enjoy a boy’s submission without being dominant towards him, it’s not so important to me. I’ve been latching onto it because I’ve…

Thank You 2014

I’ve come a long way since starting my blogging journey just over two years ago. I want to take a moment to thank you all so very much for reading, for supporting me, and for all your encouragement. It has meant so much.

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for my blog. It was interesting comparing it to last year’s report. The most notable change was in the number of views on my busiest day. It went from 316 in 2013 to 1298 in 2014!

I am looking forward to another great year of posts and accomplishment. I do hope you will continue to join me.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 46,000 times in 2014. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 17 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
